So, how can I secure a ticket I hear you ask? We've listened to
your feedback and will be doing two ticket releases. 50% of all our discounted tickets will go
exclusively to final year students, and will be released on Thu 3
Apr. The rest of the tickets will be available to ALL students on Fri 4 Apr. We've created a little table below to help you
understand this breakdown. Please note: All of our tickets are
available on a first come first served basis.
Putting on an event the size of Summer Ball and delivering the high-quality experience expected of
such a prestigious event doesn't come cheap. As a registered charity, we must ensure that our costs
are covered and each year it is becoming more challenging to deliver the same experience for the
same price. That's why this year we have had to increase the ticket price for the first time since
2012 (if we had followed inflation since then, the event would now cost in excess of £100!) The
ticket price reflects various costs including the acts performing, the infrastructure, and the staff
working the event.

Security, medics, bar, cloakroom, catering, tech, site crew, artist liaisons, management, ticket
exchange, noise mitigation team.
Customer Service

Till & card machine hire, fridges & chiller unit hire, drink consumables.
Marketing

Signage, wristbands, lanyards, event branding.
Other fees
