recognition.

We know there’s lots of great work that happens across our campus, and we want to make sure that it’s recognised and celebrated. Whether you want to promote your own achievements or recognise another's, here’s all the different ways we recognise students at RHSU:

Academic Reps

If you’re an academic rep, or a student who wants to recognise their rep for all their hard work then why not let us know via our Your Impact platform This is so we can find out what reps have been up to and hear about their great work, and shout about it in our termly impact reports shared for all students to see. As well as this, from the Your Impact submissions, each month a Rep of the Month will be selected and promoted across our website and social media. At the end of each year, we also hold a Rep Awards ceremony showcasing the successes of the year.

Inclusion & Academic Community Officers

Our Community Officers can often be found running campaigns, delivering events and bringing together students at Royal Holloway. If you’re a student who wants to recognise the hard work of a Community Officer then let us know so we can shout about them! Drop us an email and we’ll make sure to recognise them for everything they’ve done!

Sports Clubs, Societies and Media Outlets

Each year we hold our famous Colours Ball and Society Awards celebrations to recognise the hard work of all of our sports clubs and societies. Nominations for these open in term two so make sure to keep an eye out.

Staff

Lastly, you can recognise staff for the work they do in supporting your university experience. Whether that’s a lecturer who goes out of their way to make their lectures as engaging as possible, or someone in the library who went above and beyond in assisting you with a query – if there’s a staff member you want to recognise check out our You're Valued proramme here.
