#RH for #RH
I, Rida Haider, an Indian by nationality, international student by designation and a well informed mature student would like to contest for the role of VP-Education in the upcoming Student’s Union Election 2021.
Last academic year 2021 brought new challenges along with it which affected students, professors and the methods of teaching. Covid 19 posed new challenges to the world of teaching and the art of learning. With learning switching to online platform and changing the landscape of relaying information from face to face to Microsoft teams, the academic body had to ensure the smooth transition and address other pressing academic issues faced by the students of our university.

- AVAILIBILITY OF LIBRARY RESOURCES ONLINE: The library usage also acquired a new status in the form of online portal. As a VP, I will work to ensure every student receives as many resources available online to facilitate in their coursework ranging from projects, lab reports and dissertations.
- IMPROVING THE ACCESS TO MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH SERVICES: A good state of mind is not only the secret to success but also to a peaceful life. With the onset of the pandemic, there was a sharp rise in the anxiety levels among university students which not only interfered with the motivation, concentration, social interaction but also instilled fear among students about their future and job prospective. As a VP, I will work towards increasing counselling services among students and also encourage support groups among different courses to ensure that motivation is maintained and it does not hinder with the college education. Physical health plays an equal importance ensuring a healthy state of mind. I will be ensuring that the students who are in need are provided with correct information on
