Make it easier for students without facebook accounts to stay informed.

I think it is more common than people assume for people to not have a facebook account (shock, horror). It would be good if there could be an additional SU-run platform for societies to advertise events, etc which do not involve facebook. Personally my concern, and one of the reasons I have not deleted my own account yet, is the fact that I would miss out on announcements and updates from my societies, and I'm sure there are others who have similar concerns.
