Stargazing society

I want to create a society all about the stars: viewing them, going to a planetarium and commemorating rare astrological events. In the past, I have had some scientific interests but really wanted a down to earth approach to it all. It would great to form a society that can appeal to all students, with some events that cater to the more scientific aspect of this proposal and others that are more general. (Space is just amazing)
