Maybe One Day.

As a student that lives 20 minutes from campus, i find the easiest way to travel to and from lectures is by bike. However there is forever a struggle to find suitable lock up facilities on campus. The racks behind the windsor building are only suitable for around 5 bikes and due to the height of the rack you cannot lock the bike securely- and with the high bike thefts at Royal Holloway this is less than ideal. With the introduction of the new library area and new SU surroundings, i believe it would be of great benefit to introduce more bike racks. This will also reduce the amount of students attempting to drive onto campus and into the sports centre- leading to better carbon offset and a healthier campus.
