Licensed operations Code of Conduct.
The Students’ Union is an inclusive organisation and recognises that anti-social conduct and behaviour directly impact the wellbeing of individuals within our venues. Byelaw J of the Students’ Union's Constitution sets out the general expected Code of Conduct for all members and guests in Union venues and engaged in Union activities.
In addition to this, the following are not acceptable within any of the licensed premises, events or venues and will result in an individual being asked to leave the premises:
- Drunk and disorderly behaviour
- Excessive intoxication
- Anti-social or threatening behaviour
- Possession of unauthorised alcohol
- Abuse of staff
- Vandalism
- Theft
- Aggressive behaviour
- Harassment
- Discrimination
- Possession of drugs
- Assault
- Possession of weapons
- Illegal entry
This list is neither intended to be inclusive nor exhaustive, and the Students’ Union reserves the right to investigate any other conduct which may give rise to further disciplinary action through the Members’ Disciplinary Procedure.
Licensed Operations Code of Conduct
Addendum
Members (Full, Associate, Ordinary, Life or Honorary) are permitted to sign in guests to the Students’ Union venues and events; and assume responsibility for their guests' actions whilst in attendance.
Individuals who breach the zero-tolerance policy will have their details taken and access restricted until the following Monday when the disciplinary panel decision will be made.
This charge is in place to cover an individual being sick at one of our events; it exists to cover the expenses related to cleaning up the incident. The details of this can be seen in the Code of Conduct document above.
Please allow up to 24 hours for us to process your payment and reinstate your ability to purchase event tickets. If you have any issues, please visit the Union Helpdesk or email helpdesk@su.rhul.ac.uk.
