Tickets for Society Awards are £35.00 which includes a selection of food and drink, as well as entertainment throughout the evening. Doors open at 7pm with the awards ceremony due to start at 8pm. Once the ceremony is over (around 10pm), we'll turn the Main Hall around for an afterparty with a DJ to keep you dancing until 1pm.

The Students' Union is keen to take the necessary steps to meet the accessibility requirements of all people and promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities. If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know when you purchase your ticket and we'll be in touch.

Tickets

You will have the opportunity to specify which group you would like to sit with when you proceed to checkout. We will try our best to sit you in your requested group, but we cannot guarantee this will always be possible.

Tickets are available for all members of our societies and media outlets - you can also purchase an additional ticket to bring a +1 along (they don't need to be a Royal Holloway student so you're welcome to bring family and friends).

Society Awards operates on a break-even budget where every pound of each ticket is allocated across the operating costs of the event, from decoration and awards to tech and entertainment.

 

Food and drink

All ticket holders will receive a voucher strip that gets you a welcome drink (mimosa or orange juice) plus two additional drinks (choose from a glass of house wine, a pint of Coors Light, or a pint of draught soft drink).

It's not a sit-down meal but you'll still get to enjoy three delicious courses; we'll be serving sweet & sour chicken or vegan chicken with soy black bean sauce - both served with rice - for the main course, with canapé-style starters and desserts for you tuck into.

Pre-order drinks

We understand that groups may wish to buy some extra wine or soft drinks at the event if they have outstanding money in their group social accounts.

If you wish to put in a request for extra drinks, your President should submit a ticket through Freshdesk.

You can choose from the following drinks:

Wine

  • Glass of house red/white £4.00

Soft drinks

  • Glass of lemonade/diet coke £2.00

Please include how many glasses of wine/soft drinks you would like to request for your group (maximum of one extra drink per member attending). Please also tell us the name of the one committee member who will be responsible for collecting your extra drinks (if your President isn’t attending the event).

All money will be debited from your social account prior to the event. Please only request extra drinks if you know you have sufficient funds in your social account! Requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

The deadline for groups to request to buy drinks from their social account is 23:59 on Sunday 15 May 2022. We will reply to your ticket through Freshdesk to confirm if your request has been successful.
