About us

Welcome to Photography Society! We aim to teach everyone from beginners to experienced photographers to take photos to be proud of whilst having fun.

We run weekly practical sessions allowing members to gain both a broad skill-set in photography plus an increased confidence in their existing abilities. Throughout the year we will be covering a range of different photographic styles/techniques. If you don’t have a camera, don’t worry, members can participate in most sessions using phones or by renting one of the society cameras.

Please come along to one of our taster sessions during freshers if you have any interest in the society. If you miss the taster sessions, then don't worry - you can drop in and try out any of our normal sessions before deciding to purchase membership.

Membership

This year we have a Standard Membership available for just £5. This membership allows access to all of our events and sessions, along with our private facebook group and Discord chat. Any trips and socials this year are also exclusively for our members.

Your membership fee goes towards new equipment and existing equipment upkeep, new books for theory sessions, potential guest speakers, and more.
