Herzlich Willkommen!

The German Society is excited to be back for the academic year of 2021/22 and wants to offer its members a great and especially safe environment to connect, practise German and have fun. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, if you are a native speaker who wants to meet others or study German at uni or if you are just interested in learning a new language. Our society is all about connecting and fun, so everyone is welcome to join in!

For the upcoming year, we are planning on holding a monthly Stammtisch at a local pub, going on nights out to the Oktoberfest in Reading and day trips to London. We would also like to cooperate with other societies such as Film Society and host German movie nights.
