Welcome to the Royal Holloway Chinese Students and Scholars Association (RHULCSSA)! We are dedicated to helping Chinese students adapt to life in the UK and at Royal Holloway while promoting Chinese culture to students from all over the world.
欢迎加入皇家霍洛威中国学生学者联谊会（RHULCSSA）！我们致力于帮助中国学生适应英国及皇家霍洛威的校园生活，同时向来自世界各地的同学推广丰富的中国文化。
We organize a variety of events to share Chinese traditions and modern culture, while encouraging cross-cultural learning. Whether it's recommending great places to visit, sharing delicious Chinese food, or participating in fun cultural activities, we look forward to enjoying these moments with you! (You can also pick up some Mandarin along the way in a relaxed environment!)

Events & Activities / 活动安排
We offer major events and general activities:
我们提供大活动和常规活动：
Major Events (Once per Month) / 大活动（每月一次）
These events are usually scheduled on Wednesdays or Saturdays, or around traditional festivals, and transportation costs for members are covered:
• London or Nearby Day Trips: Such as Legoland, Thorpe Park, and Winter Wonderland.
• Festival Celebrations: Celebrations of traditional Chinese festivals such as Mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese New Year Gala.
• Special Themed Events: Including Karaoke, Asian Night, and Halloween parties.
这些活动通常安排在周三或周六，或者与传统节日相对应，会员可享受交通费用报销：
• 伦敦或周边一日游：如Legoland、Thorpe Park、Winter Wonderland等。
• 节日庆典：如中秋节、春节晚会等中国传统节日庆祝活动。
• 特别主题活动：如卡拉OK、Asian Night、万圣节派对等主题派对。
Small Events (At least Once per Month) / 小活动（每月至少一次）
These events are more flexible and usually announced one week in advance via social media:
• DIY Craft Workshops: Create traditional Chinese crafts like lanterns, paper-cutting, and fans.
• Sports Activities: Including badminton, table tennis, and other team sports.
• Social Dinners: Casual gatherings to enjoy a variety of cultural cuisines together.
这些活动更加灵活，通常会提前一周通过社交媒体通知：
• DIY 手工艺活动：制作灯笼、剪纸、扇子等中国传统手工。
• 体育活动：如羽毛球、乒乓球等团队体育活动。
• 社交聚餐：一起享受各种文化的美食的轻松聚会。

• One-Time Event Membership / 一次性活动会员: £3 (For one small event only)
Membership Benefits / 会员福利
• Free access to small events / 免费参与小活动: Members can participate in our monthly small events for free.

• Discounts and transportation reimbursement for major events / 大活动折扣及交通报销: Members receive ticket discounts for major events, and transportation costs are covered for some events.

• Priority notifications and Q&A support / 优先通知及答疑支持: Members receive priority notifications for all events and have access to Q&A support before events to ensure a smooth participation experience.

• Special perks / 特别福利: Members may receive special gifts from CSSA, such as Chinese-themed souvenirs (stickers, bookmarks, etc.).
