Lyell

The Lyell Geoscience Society acts as the bridge between social and academic sides of the Earth Science Department at Royal Holloway, University London.

This year we are planning to host a large variety of events - from movie nights to field trips! Through our activities and exclusive events our members have access to excellent social, academic and career-building opportunities within the many fields of Geoscience. Most notably we host our annual Lyell Day in February, where we explore the best of Geoscience. The day involves an evening black-tie ball and sit-down meal where we celebrate the years events and achievements.
