As part of our manifesto aims to improve the service and provision of competitive sport and physical activity for all students while studying at Royal Holloway, the Students’ Union has launched a new survey to get your feedback about your experiences!
About The Project
In the 2024 Student Leadership Elections, we made a commitment in our manifesto to review the current sport provision run by Royal Holloway and the Students’ Union. But we wanted to go deeper.
This survey is meant for all students, including those who do not participate in Royal Holloway or Students’ Union sports activities through societies and sports clubs. We want to better understand ways we can improve our services as well as the barriers that exist which prevent students from participating like cost, poor mental or physical heath, and accessibility. This survey will ask a variety of questions around University and Students’ Union services, and whether there are any correlations between sport and belonging, loneliness and academic success.
The Survey
If you can please take a moment to fill out the survey and share your experiences, it would help us push for impactful change in our service provision and try to make access to competitive sport more inclusive at Royal Holloway.
They survey will close on Sunday, 16 February at 23:59.
Cash Prizes
For this survey we are offering great cash prizes as an extra incentive to give us your views:
- Five £25 cash prizes
- Four £50 cash prizes
- And one lucky winner will get £100 cash prize after the survey closes
That means we are giving £425 back to students who participate in the survey. To be eligible for a cash prize, you need to complete the entire survey. We will be announcing winners over the next two weeks while the survey is live. The sooner you complete the survey, the more chances you have to win a prize!
Next Steps
We will share the results of this survey with key University stakeholders, Active Lifestyle & Sport and the Senior Leadership Team at the Students’ Union and work collaboratively to find solutions. We will also share the results with students in infographics as well as a completed Student Insight Report later in the year.
