It's been a few weeks since our second Speak Week this academic year, which means it's time to look at the results! This term we wanted to know, ‘What one change would you like to see at Royal Holloway?’
It's been a few weeks since our second Speak Week this academic year, which means it's time to look at the results!
In October, we asked you about your experience during your first few weeks of term, and we shared what we found out with you in November. This term we wanted to know, ‘What one change would you like to see at Royal Holloway?’
We ran two SU on Tour events in the library and outside the SU, and our Sabbatical Officers and permanent staff team spoke to many of you in person. Thank you so much for taking the time to fill out our slips and participate in this event both in person and online. We gathered more than 300 responses because of your engagement which was an increase from Term One! We’ve had a read through all your responses and want to share with you what we learned and the top things you would like to see changed at Royal Holloway.
WHAT WE LEARNED
WHAT'S NEXT?
We’ve identified the main themes you’ve put forward on what you’d like to see changed at the University, but the impact of your feedback does not end there. The top ideas will make up the basis of what will be brought to the University and Students’ Union for further discussions and eventually decision-making around issues such as your social and academic interests, improvements to campus facilities, SU events and much more! Your insights will be used to create lasting and positive change in areas that are important to you and improve students’ experiences at Royal Holloway.
We will be running another Speak Week event in Term Three from Monday 20 May. Look out for more details on our website and social media channels. Thank you to everyone who participated in Speak Week, and took time out of their day to share feedback. Your voice matters and we’re here to listen!
