In last year's Rate Your Union survey, we asked you to tell us about your experience of using the University's Wellbeing Department. We're pleased to be able to share some of the results of the survey, as well as our progress on the Student Insight Report that will be published later this term with recommendations for the University.
Every year, we ask standard questions about your experiences using our services which help guide our plans for the next academic year. Importantly, we use our annual Rate Your Union survey as a platform to also look at other issues that might be impacting your student experience at Royal Holloway.
In Term Three of the 2022-23 academic year, we wanted to gain further insight into the student experience around the support and services provided by the University’s Wellbeing Department. Now that we’ve analysed the results, we want to share some of what we’ve learned from the survey.
What we learned
What’s next
These are just some of the figures we’ve pulled from the survey, but all the results will be shared in our final Student Insight Report which we are currently writing. The Students’ Union has compiled a list of recommendations from the survey results framed around issues of key importance which we hope will improve the support and services offered by the Wellbeing Department. SU President, Hannah Hockin, has taken this list to the University for further discussion and a final list of recommendations will be included in the Student Insight Report and shared with students later this term.
