Why I ran for VP Wellbeing & Diversity
Wellbeing and diversity are something I have always been passionate about, and my previous roles allowed me to work closely with the previous VP Wellbeing & Diversity Nisha. I knew that this area of work is something I wanted to continue in and this role allowed me to do this while advocating and creating meaningful change for students in a place that has been my home for the past three years.
My Manifesto
Wellbeing
Your wellbeing as a student is extremely important, and this is a key area for me this year. My manifesto includes a plethora of things that will enhance the wellbeing of the students on campus.
Community Officers
I will work alongside the Community Officers to help them build their communities and achieve their manifestos.
Creating a more inclusive campus environment
Throughout this year, I want to run a variety of campaigns in relation to my manifesto aims.
What I’m excited for
Overall, I am so excited to work with my incredible Sabbatical Officer team to improve the student experience here at Royal Holloway! Also, I cannot wait for all the campaign weeks I have planned so keep an eye out for that. 😊

- REMEMBER to take some time for you! Uni in general but especially those first few weeks can be very overwhelming so take some time for yourself and relax.
Things to do to look after yourself
- Spend time with friends both new and old!
- Read a book or watch a film (depending on which you prefer)
- Journal – writing everything down has always helped me.
