>>Tell us about yourself

I’m a third year student studying English and History and I wanted to be a School Rep to enable positive change within the School. I was a course rep and Senior Course rep in my first and second year and my biggest aims for this year include improving the module allocation process, diversifying the curriculum, create better accessibility for disabled and neurodiverse students, even those who are not formally registered with services. Finally, I want to improve links between the Careers Department and the School and opening the lines of communication between staff and students.

>>What made you want to become a School Rep for 2024/25?

I was a course rep and senior course rep in my first and second year. My biggest aim this year is to improve the experience of students across the School of Humanities.

>>Which part of your manifesto are you most excited to work on?

My main aims for this year are to improve the module allocation process, diversify the curriculum, and create better accessibility for disabled and neurodiverse students.

>> What are you most looking forward to this academic year?

I’m looking forward to improving the links between the Careers Department and the School and opening the lines of communication between staff and students.
