So, think ahead to where you will be on 4 July to make sure you can vote and make sure your voice is heard. If you can't vote in person on the day, you can register to vote via postal vote or a vote by proxy.

In this general election, it is more important than ever for you as a student and a young person to turn up and vote. Student and youth movements have been leading the way in demanding a better and brighter future in this country, but if we want our politicians and political parties to advocate for the issues most important to us, we must back our voices up with action at the ballot boxes.
Our voice will only be heard if we Turn Up at elections. Students and apprentices make up 10% of the voting population - we have the power to make ourselves heard.
General Elections usually only happen every 5 years, so if you don’t use your vote you’ll likely have to wait another half decade to have your say.
