It’s almost time for us to announce who is running to be your leaders for 2025/26 in the upcoming Leadership Elections. There’s a lot happening in the next few weeks so here are some dates for the diary!

It’s almost time for us to announce who is running to be your leaders for 2025/26 in the upcoming Leadership Elections. There’s a lot happening in the next few weeks so here are some dates for the diary: 

 

4 March @ 12pm – Campaigning Begins: This is when we will announce all the candidates and campaigning will begin. Make sure to keep an eye on social media to see who’s running. 

 

10 March @ 6:30pm – PIR Society’s: Candidate Debate: Want to hear why the candidates think they deserve your vote? Join us in Shilling Auditorium for the Candidate Debate, led by PIR Society, to get to know the candidates and discuss important issues facing students today.  

 

11 March – Voting Begins: Voting opens from 10am on 5 March so make sure to have your say in who will be leading the Students’ Union for 2025/26. Just head to the SU website or one of our polling stations to cast your vote. 

 

11 March – Market Day x Leadership Elections: Heading to Market Day at the SU to grab some lunch? Whilst you’re there, you can also cast your votes in the Leadership Elections.   

 

12 March – Petting Zoo (Give it a Go x Leadership Elections): Join us at the SU Lawn and make friends with some lovely animals who are here to brighten up your day! Whilst there, why not vote at our SU voting station for the Leadership Elections.   

 

13 March – Voting Closes: Voting for the leadership elections closes on the 13 March. 

 

13 March @ 8pm – Results Night: To round off Leadership Elections , come along to one of the most important nights of the SU calendar. Find out who will be leading your Union next year!
