After months of preparation, it's now only a matter of weeks until the start of term, and we can't wait! To welcome you back to campus in true RoHo fashion, we've got an incredible programme of over 40 events to celebrate the new academic year.
The line-up
From start to finish, Freshers' Festival promises unforgettable memories, and unlimited opportunities to try new things and meet new friends. We'll be rounding off the week with Freshers' Ball at the Students' Union where Nathan Dawe will be headlining the biggest party of Freshers' Festival!
Party the Glitterbomb way with special performances from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK legends Dakota Schiffer, and Chorizo May. Flawless takes over the SU Venue every Wednesday and it's no different during Freshers' Festival. We're pumped for a performance from legendary British YouTuber and musician, Yung Filly.
On Thursday, we'll be introducing you to your new favourite night - Bounce. Get ready to dance the night away to the pulsating beats of EDM and house music with an electric light show to give you the full rave experience. A Little Sound joins us for the first-ever night! Shy FX and Stamina MC will be bringing us into the weekend with the juiciest night of the week! Join us at Juicy for the best of house, chart, and basement tunes throughout the night!
Our other two venues, The Packhorse and Medicine are also bringing you good vibes with a range of events. This September, newcomers Double Down Tuesdays and Saturday 7s enter the scene at The Packhorse, giving you even more choices to socialise and grab a bite!
Starting at Royal Holloway? Don’t miss out on getting your Freshers’ Festival wristband! For 11 days, first-year students have priority access to purchase a wristband, which gets you into all our biggest Freshers’ Festival events, including the Traffc Light Party and VK Presents #WeAreTheBeat to name a couple.

When can I buy a wristband?
Wristbands will go on sale in two phases:
- First-year (including foundation) students: Thursday 24 August (1pm)
- General sale: Monday 4 September (10am)
Individual event tickets are on sale from 10am on Monday 11 September.
