Last term, you cast your votes on some weird and wonderful Bright Ideas. From changing gym opening hours to introducing culture day, find out which ideas passed the threshold to be taken forward by our Sabbatical Officers.
Last term, seven of your Bright Ideas, were open for voting from 27 November - 10 December. For an idea to be passed onto our Sabbatical Officer team to lobby for, the idea must reach 50 positive votes.
Only one idea reached the threshold this time round which was to 'Introduce Free Optional Language Learning Modules', submitted by Ben Closier. The idea was to advocate for all students to have the opportunity to enrol in free language learning modules alongside their course to further expand the options they have in the future. Nisha, VP Wellbeing & Diversity and Sharanya, VP Education, have taken on this idea and are beginning to start discussions to see if it can happen!
