Friday 16 - Sunday 25 September 2022
Whether it’s food, drink, or a little boogie you’re after, we’ve got plenty to offer on all fronts.
If you’ve not yet had the chance to explore campus properly, we've created a full 360-degree virtual tour so you can get to know our venues ahead of joining us in September.
Launch the tour
Home to our weekly Wednesday and Friday club nights, we’ve had some incredible artists performing over the years from Sigma and Nathan Dawe to Big Narstie and Becky Hill. It’s not just big club nights you’ll find here though as we also host loads of student group performances on our main stage.
Our second biggest venue plays host to a number of events and society performances throughout the year, including our favourites MedsBevs and Toast. We’ve also got a spacious beer garden which is perfect for drinks in the sun (don’t worry, we have heaters for those cold winter nights).
Situated downstairs in the SU, we serve banging burgers and a range of other tasty dishes, catering for all dietary requirements. Grab yourself something quick to takeaway, sit in for a meal with mates, or chill outside on the Union Plaza.
The SU’s very own pub where you can enjoy a range of food and drinks deals, including our ever popular Two for Tuesday - 241 on a load of the menu. We also screen live sport seven days a week and have tons of other events including karaoke, live music, and our weekly Pub Quiz.
Okay, not technically a venue but we're the only people that are allowed to host huge parties in the iconic Founder's Building. Every year, we take Freshers’ Ball to South Quad during Freshers’ Festival, but our biggest event of the year is Summer Ball. Taking place in June, this massive event sees 3500 students coming together to celebrate the end of the academic year. Previous headliners have included Ella Eyre, Mabel, Chase & Status, Rudimental, Example, and loads more.
We may run a lot of events at our venues, but every penny spent on tickets, food and drinks goes straight back into services for you, such as funding our Advice Centre which can help you with any issues you have during your time at university.
