Writing

About Us

Welcome to the Writing Society at Royal Holloway! We are a passionate and inclusive community dedicated to all things creative writing. Whether you're a seasoned writer, an aspiring novelist, a poet, or just someone who loves to dabble in storytelling, our society offers a supportive space for you to explore and develop your craft.

Our activities range from weekly writing sessions to movie nights with guest speaker sessions, bringing in published authors and industry professionals to inspire and share their insights on the writing world.

At the Writing Society, we believe that writing is for everyone, regardless of background or experience. Our aim is to foster creativity, provide constructive feedback, and build a vibrant community where members can form connections, collaborate on projects, and grow as writers. So, if you’re looking for a space to unleash your imagination, experiment with different genres, or simply meet like-minded people, come join us!

Let’s create, write, and inspire—together.
