If you’re looking to develop a new skill, flex your creative muscles, or simply unwind after a day of lectures, you’ll find something in our calendar of Give It A Go events.

These are smaller-scale events that are predominantly alcohol-free and focused on you meeting new people in a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment. Some highlights from Freshers' Festival include our Board Games Night, a Petting Zoo, a Trip to IKEA and loads more!

So whether you’re an adrenaline junkie, culture vulture or just love a bit of art and craft, we'll have something for you.

Give Lacrosse A Go: 22nd November; Astro Turf; Explore the fast-paced world of Lacrosse, where you can learn the fundamentals of this exciting sport. It’s a great chance to try something new, master basic skills, and enjoy the game with others!

Pottery Painting with Genevieve's Gallery: 29th November; SU Venue; Perfectly in time for Christmas we're partnering with Genevieve's Gallery to bring you an afternoon of chilled out pottery painting! Make sure to buy your ticket in advance so you don't miss out!
