Ticket update

To avoid any uncertainty or students getting dressed up for an event that they may not be able to get into depending on capacity, we made the decision to put all tickets on advance sale for this event. As a result, there will be no tickets sold on the door. The final ticket release was at midday on Friday 16 September and these tickets have now sold out.

Sigma

Sigma stand at that meeting point between dance music and pop, pioneers of a radio (and stadium) friendly sound that's seen the duo shift over 4 million singles, clock over 308 million YouTube views, and play stages from London’s Brixton Academy, Roundhouse, and Fabric, to the UK’s Glastonbury (in front of 100,000 people), Reading Festival (where thousands danced outside of a packed Radio 1/NME arena), and further beyond with sold out shows across Australia and New Zealand, Amnesia in Ibiza, and EDC in America.

As Sigma’s profile skyrocketed, Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie quickly found themselves collaborating with a dizzying array of artists, including Take ThatLabrinth, Rita OraElla Henderson and Maverick Sabre.

Their single 'Nobody to Love' topped the UK Singles Chart in April 2014, becoming their first UK number one. The duo would top the charts again soon after with their follow-up single 'Changing', featuring Paloma Faith.

Debut album 'Life' released in 2015 would go on to peak at number 2 on the UK Dance Chart and they’ve achieved consistent chart, streaming, and radio hits alike (no other act has enjoyed as many UK national radio playlists).

Everyone should experience the duo’s incendiary live show at least once. Part gig, part rave, it’s a winning formula that’s seen them grab rave reviews.

Sigma's second album 'Hope' was released on 17 June 2022.

Sing It Back

The Karaoke revolution has reached new levels in recent years. Sing it Back deliver a full live band experience, BIG screen scrolling lyrics and even BIGGER songs from a multitude of genres to get you in the party mood.

Let's show them that the Royal Holloway crowd has the biggest lungs in the country!

Katie Kittermaster

With her spry pop framework, Katie Kittermaster articulates the melancholy of young adulthood with wit, warmth and clarity. She possesses an ability to express some of the more difficult, confusing aspects of human relationships in a lucid, plain-spoken way. That makes her songs, even in their most downcast moments, a study of resolve, strength and triumph.

Hitting the road with the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Scouting For Girls, Ronan Keating and Lucy Spraggan in her career’s formative stages made it abundantly clear that crowds really homed in on her honest, conversational songs, which have gathered millions of plays worldwide.

2020 single 'The Problem’ playlisted on over 98 UK radio stations and was played across Europe, with consistent support from BBC Introducing Kent.

After signing a global publishing deal with BMG Publishing last year, Katie played her sold-out debut headline show in September, performing at 229 London with her full band, before headlining a show at The Garage in February.

As she churns out fresh new tunes from old scars and flourishes into adulthood, her journey up ahead looks very bright indeed.

Identification

It's a requirement to have your College Card with you when you attend Students' Union events and we'll ask to see this when you enter our venues. However, during the first two weeks of term, we know that the process and production of College Cards can take time which may mean you don't have yours for the start of Freshers' Festival.

That's why from 16 September - 30 September we will accept a couple of alternatives that prove your student status:

  • Proof of enrolment by producing your Campus Connect Profile Page on your phone
    or
  • An official Royal Holloway letter which shows your College Card Number and Full Name

Alongside this, you'll need to bring photographic proof of age ID (driving licence, passport, PASS card) which will be cross-referenced against your enrolment information.

Event tickets

All tickets purchased online (via the RHSU website or StudentLink app) are automatically assigned to your personal account and then accessed on the door by swiping your College card.

All sales are final, and refunds are not available on tickets once they have been purchased (including duplicates or purchases made in error, tickets bought for the wrong event or non-attendance due to personal choice, illness or injury).

Transfers

Your student College card and tickets are not transferrable – i.e. you cannot lend it to anyone else to get into the venue.

Accessibility

As your Students' Union, we're keen to promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities and to take the necessary steps to meet their requirements - that's why we've ensured that everything we do is accessible to as many of you as possible.

All of our venues are wheelchair accessible via shallow ramps; you can find out more about our venues and view our AccessAble pages by heading to our Accessibility page.

If you or someone you know requires access to special facilities, please email venues@su.rhul.ac.uk and our friendly team will do their best to meet your needs.
