One World Cinema: Australia and Nepal

This week, we are celebrating One World Week! Chaplaincy and Faith Support will be running exciting events every day, and tonight it is all about Australia and Nepal.

A poignant and powerful documentary about the role of the Sherpas (mountaineering guides) in the Everest industry. Sherpa tells the story of how the Sherpa community united in grief and anger to reclaim the mountain they call Chomolungma, and how the Sherpas are forced to consider the future of Everest climbing and whether anything justifies the danger they face after an avalanche killed 16 of their members.
