New this year, RHSU Priority 8 lets you decide what issues matter most. During the Leadership Elections, vote for the top priorities you want the Union to focus on. The winning 8 will guide our Sabbatical Officers' work, keeping the SU truly student-led.
There are both Sabbatical Officer roles and School Reps that are being elected, check out the job descriptions to see what role is right for you.
Considering putting yourself forward but still not 100% sure it's right for you? Why not arrange a 1-2-1 with our Student Voice Manager to find out if you'd be suitable for a role?
For our Sabbatical Officer positions, you can also chat with our current sabbs to find out more about what the roles entail and their campaign experience. Come to the Helpdesk on 4 Feb between 3-4pm!
To run in the Leadership Elections, you must be a current Royal Holloway student, not disqualified from a previous Union election, and not banned from Union/University spaces or terminated by RHSU. School Rep candidates must belong to the relevant School and be a student in 2025/26. See the rules and regs for full details.
Navigating elections and campaigning can be a daunting prospect but it doesn't have to be. Get a step ahead by looking through our handy resources below.
