The training and pitch schedules must be evaluated to make training more efficient as well as getting a more weighted priority over outside bookings! Outside bookings must be placed around the RHUL sports schedule and off-campus sports need better support.

MAKE SPORT BIG!

We know that RHUL has sporting talent, but let’s get the rest of the University more involved. Linking our great societies to our talented sports will make be beneficial for all! Rhubarb TV, Insanity Radio, Orbital and the Founder are incredible societies that can converge with sports clubs to create a mutually beneficial future. BUCS results and fixtures can be put around campus to keep people informed on a weekly basis and make clubs feel even more honoured to represent Royal Holloway.

Hear your VOICE

I want to introduce a more structured way for you to communicate your club’s issues with your VP. Office hours and frequent meetings are needed to make sure you are being heard! We have so many great clubs at RHUL but sometimes smaller and newer clubs feel they don’t have the same exposure as other bigger clubs, they need a larger voice.

Build the FUTURE

When the sports centre undergoes redevelopment, it will be shaped by your opinions and ideas now! Bigger gym, more grass pitches? New astro-pitch or 3G? Help us build the best future for RHUL sport!

Bring the HEAT

Next year we travel back to Surrey for Varsity, we need to step up our game and bring the whole of RHUL with us to fight their flame with our own fire! The Planning must be improved so that it suits our supporters and players. Varsity needs to be the biggest sporting event of the season, it is essential to make sure the hype is there for Varsity.
