Hi all! My name is Yousuf Shahid. I am running for RHSU President to help move the Union in the right direction.

My professional experience before starting my MSc at Royal Holloway have equipped me with wide range of practical skills. One thing I learned and developed from my experience apart from leadership capability, organizational proficiency and taking initiatives is how to deliver within the resources you have. I’m here to represent everyone's interests as my own!

Actively work with Royal Holloway to invite Entrepreneurs, Inventors and Leaders in order to help you activate.

Continue to work and expand relationships with organisations like NUS and collaborating with more.

Lobby with college to make at least one sports/music/drama classes as graded course electives for every student at Royal Holloway.

Lobby and campaign for current and future EU Students for keeping same visa and tuition fee regulation as before after Brexit.

Running campaign with other Unions of University of London institutes for post study visa enablement for Current and Future International Students.

Transparent and daily updates on milestones achieved by SU President and other officers.

I will continue to support GTA pay and secure a further pay rise, as well as further teaching training.

Lobby with Transport for London for 18+ Student Oyster Card for Royal Holloway Students regardless for their term time address.

Launch a ‘9000asOne’ campaign that will raise awareness on mental and health awareness of every student and help them socialize and get involved in activities and events. So no one can feel left behind.
