Hi everyone! I’m Willow, your current Vice-President (Welfare and Diversity).

I’ve learned a lot of things as a sabbatical officer, including the importance of a strong relationship with the college, so that I know my voice is heard when I advocate for equality, diversity and better student welfare.

This is why I’m running for the position of college council rep alongside VP Welfare & Diversity in this election.

The college council is a governing body that sits above the Principal, Paul Layzell, and his executive team. It ensures Royal Holloway as an institution is heading in the right direction in terms of financial and academic issues, as well as policies relating to equality & diversity.

As your representative, I promise to use the college council as a powerful platform to advocate for stronger support in liberation and welfare causes, so that student voice is at the heart of every decision-making process.
