If I were to be elected as a Student Trustee, my main focus would be being approachable to students, enhancing student experience as much as possible. I would do this by offering time during the week, being open to people’s ideas and raising these in annual meetings for future improvements.

With brand new facilities developing such as the new library and the Packhorse, I want all students to feel welcome to utilise these new areas and get the most of the services on offer. With these exciting new developments underway, I wish to push for continuously improving not only social but also academic areas around the university, fulfilling the needs of university life.

I will be all ears, listening to any issues or suggestions any students may have, always voicing their ideas, whilst abiding with the new constitution. Working with other trustees, I will make sure students are represented fairly, ensuring that any decisions made will take into account the needs of students.

Being enthusiastic and willing in all I do, I believe this will be achieved.
