The Academic Affairs officer is responsible for heading up the Course Representative system. This will include training, supporting and leading them as a group. The individual will lead on issues affecting students in their departments and also across campus, this could be from little things like course books to large scale campaigns such as Library resources. An individual who is interested in how departments are run and how the College leads its departments at a senior manager level will get a lot from this role. Would be great experience for anyone looking to work in the Education sector in the future, either as a teacher or a policy setter.
