As part of my ongoing campaign to improve student safety at Royal Holloway, I’m sharing the results from last term’s student safety survey and the next steps the University is taking!

It seems like only yesterday that we published our term 1 rep impact blog highlighting the fantastic achievements our academic reps have accomplished. SSAMs have been continuing strong and we’re breaking down the impact made from this 2024/25 academic year.

1st Year Psychology rep, Alexander Endean, has been working hard this year to represent the academic interests of students in the School of Life Sciences and the Environment. After noticing that student engagement wasn’t as good as it could’ve been, Alexander had the idea of creating a Psychology Student Magazine (The Cortex), which is a collaborative piece aiming to connect students, foster inspiration and share ideas.

Women in Sport: Moving, Educating and Inspiring

This week we are celebrating women in sport at Royal Holloway but also beyond campus walls as we recognise the extraordinary women who have shaped the sporting world to increase diversity, promote inclusion and empower other women to take on a new sport to challenge male-dominated fields.
