First Aid

First aid is such a simple skill, but it has an incredible impact. We want everyone to learn it, so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

In 2023/24 we will be continuing our in-person first aid training, giving us the opportunity to practice skills such as CPR, using an AED and bandaging. These sessions will take place every Thursday on campus.

We also offer the option to take your training further, with a chance to join our SJA unit on campus as a volunteer and be provided with further training and the opportunity to put these skills into practice at events both on and off campus.

Membership Fee & Costs

We want as many people as possible to learn first aid so we are keeping our fee low, our weekly training sessions are free and open to everyone, but to take part in social we have set membership at £5. This is so that we can hold fun events and socials alongside our weekly sessions!

If you are unable to afford this fee due to financial circumstances, then please contact us, and we will be sure to help!

We are a sober society, so none of our events will include any alcohol.
