About Us

The Social Science society is a recently ratified society and we are looking forward to what the future holds! 

We welcome all and highly value diversity in perspective and opinion!

Our main aim is to bring social science and other related disciplines together and provide an inclusive and safe space for students to debate, discuss and socialise.

Membership

Purchasing a membership supports the society and provides access to events such as guest speakers, film nights, pub trips, discussion groups, and an end of year social!

Membership additionally enables the society to fund bigger and better events in the future!

Events and Activities

Events throughout the year include pub socials, quizzes, film nights and unique collaborations with other societies. Each month we will host a discussion event during which individuals can discuss and debate a topic voted on by members. Additionally, we endeavour to have an engaging guest speaker each term.
